ARD International Music Competition‘s Festival
Prize Winners on tour
In May 2026, southern Germany will be the stage for the classical music stars of tomorrow: at the ARD International Music Competition Festival, outstanding prize winners will demonstrate what young chamber musicians are capable of today.
Since 2001, the ARD Music Competition has been organizing the chamber music festival to give young musicians the opportunity to present themselves to a wide audience and to enable them to make encounters that will lead to further artistic and professional development.
The message of this festival is that chamber music connects people. These chamber concerts are also intended to encourage the prize winners of the ARD Music Competition to make music with others. This gives rise to new ensemble formations with colleagues whom one may previously have only encountered briefly at the award ceremony or in the final concerts. It is also possible to meet new colleagues, as the other participants are outstanding musicians from previous years.
